Glass Impressions Corvette Club was founded May of 2001.  The current membership ranges from veteran Corvette Owners to first time buyers, and from owners of C-2 (63 through 67) to owners of C-6 (sixth generation) Corvettes.  We also range from those that    attend car shows on a very regular basis to those who like the social life with   a Corvette.  We have members with show cars, members with racing cars, and members that just like to drive their cars. 

Our club meets on the Second Monday of Every Month, currently at Cemino’s Pizza, 1630 Essington Rd (Essington at Theodore), Joliet, IL at 7:00 P.M.  We are always looking for Corvette Owners and enthusiasts that are interested in having a good time in the company of other Corvette Owners.  The annual dues are $68.00. Our meetings are available to prospective members every month, and we would love to meet and talk Corvette with you.

Members enjoy going to and participating in Car Shows, Parades, Cruising and overnight events, in and out of state.  Our club motto is “We Cruise To Eat” and we will cruise to dinner, lunch or brunch.  We also host an annual Halloween Party, Christmas Party with gift exchange, and Overnight Road Trips, sometimes in larger groups, and sometimes just our club. 

In the summer, there are cruise nights almost every night of the week, with featured shows quite frequently. Once a month we have our signature “Cruise To Eat”, where it almost always takes us twice as long to get there as back. “Getting there is half the fun.” We also have overnight trips to places such as Bowling Breen KY, for a tour of the Corvette Plant and Museum, a car show in Wisconsin Dells, Weekend Winery Trip, Fall Color Tour, Eureka Springs, and many others.

We host an annual Car Show, which this year is at the Autobahn Country Club in Joliet in July, and is sponsored annually by Bill Jacobs Chevrolet and this year is co-sponsored by the Autobahn Country Club.  This will be a great time that you won’t want to miss.
